Cell Phone Blues

Nokia-e71

My phone, the Nokia E71 broke down and past out. The earpiece went dead so I can’t hear you when I pick up your call.

Hence, I am using my spare phone…

The Sony Ericsson Satio touch screen. It is really a cool phone with a 12.1 Megapixel camera. However, the touch screen’s responsiveness is slow and there is a strange bug in its SMS function.

However, what I would really like is the…

Apple iPhone 4! However, my housemate Paul Yap has it and he said that the reception of phone calls isn’t too good and the battery goes flat very quickly. However, he loves Skype and all the little neat Applications on it. Plus, it would put another big hole on my credit card just to get one. (Our local provider, Maxis’ plan rates require one to charge the full amount of the phone onto a credit card)

Anyhow, I decided to not chalk up another loan on my credit card and stuck with the Sony. I just downloaded the update. (Which annoying required me to use my office’s desktop PC because the software update only works on PC and I use a Mac)  Anyway, I am happy and perhaps I can save up for the new and improved iPhone 5 coming out soon (reputed to be at the end of the year and perhaps it will hit Malaysia early next year). I am such a Gadget victim!
